Back to South Bowenfels and the gardening

Two photos of the view from my place at McKanes Falls Rd. These are taken with something like a 58mm lens, so they are close to what it really looks like. The first looks towards the east, Narrow Neck (Katoomba) and the Wild Dog Mountains. The mist obscures the Hartley and Megalong Valleys. The second photo looks north to Hassans Walls (Lithgow). The best views occur when Hassans Walls lights up with a pinkish hue on some sunsets, or when you get that yellow light you sometimes see in Italian Renaissance art. Good to be back at South Bowenfels. Four hours of ride-on mowing and three hours or so of gardening completed.
